Years ago, when I decided to start homeschooling my children, I didn't have many friends or acquaintances who homeschooled. I couldn't pick the brains of other homeschooling moms, and I never had the opportunity to sit down with a cup of coffee to drill them with my endless list of questions. Several years ago, my children and I had the pleasure of participating in a local Charlotte Mason Co-op. One of the group's handicrafts for a term was to create a leather journal, doing the book binding ourselves.
