10 Apr Great Non-Toxic Cleaning Solution for Children’s Toys
Please tell me I’m not the only one who has to deal with this sort of thing!
There’s always a perfectly “legit,” very logical reason (in a 3 and 5 year old’s mind!) for this disaster – I’m going to be honest, I don’t even remember what it was because I was so mad! I came home from work one morning to find at least half of Clark and Luci’s stuffed animals and dolls colored in with markers. It was one of those times where you just have to take a little time out before reacting, if you know what I mean! All I could see were dollar signs being flushed down the toilet. One of the dolls in particular had been a Christmas present to Luci and I had spent DAYS hunting for it. The only one that matched her description was a sweet, now vintage doll…. now covered in green marker. GRRRRRR!
I did a post a while back about my Thieves Household Cleaner and how I absolutely love it for every single cleanup job that exists in my house. I’ve been working at being more aware of the chemicals that I allow into my home, so I know how important it is to make sure the cleaning solutions that I use around the children are safe. This is a great non-toxic cleaning solution, so it’s the ideal product to use on children’s toys. And here was my perfect opportunity.

I may not have gotten so upset, if I would have known how easy this was going to be! I literally sprayed the diluted cleaner over these two and wiped it off. There was no scrubbing involved. Elsa’s hair rinsed out in the sink. Almost new! Awesome!
My second challenge was Anna and Elsa, Luci’s “softie dolls.” I threw them in the laundry with my Thieves All-Natural Liquid Laundry Detergent and almost cried in joy and relief when they came out just like new! Check out the result!

They are as good as new! My Thieves Household Cleaner is the BOMB! Now I may just throw all of the kids’ stuffed animals in, just for good measure!
