16 Nov How to do a Half Double Crochet Stitch

Happy Handicrafts Video: The Only Half Double Crochet Stitch Tutorial You’ll EVER NEED
Are you getting the hang of crochet yet? Crochet is such a wonderful handicraft. For me, it is something that settles my mind and brings me peace and enjoyment. My son learned it independently when he was around 10 or 11 and has been making stuffed toys ever since. A couple of weeks ago, he made himself a sweater without any pattern at all. I absolutely love that I can watch this handicraft bring him enjoyment as well.
If you’re following along in our crochet handicraft series on our YouTube channel, Happy Handicrafts, the half double crochet stitch is the stitch you’re going to need to know for our very first crochet project – a super warm and cozy scarf. I’m going to show you how to crochet this scarf any size you like, without any pattern!
I know – I’m no model. But this is the scarf that I’m working on for myself. Can you tell how snuggly it is? I think you’re going to love it!
So practice this stitch as much as you can this week, and in our next post, we’re going to make the scarf. See you there!
