Happy Handicrafts Video: How to do a Slip Stitch – the EASIEST Stitch in Crochet

The slip stitch in crochet begins exactly like a single crochet. However, once you pull the yarn through and have two loop on your hook, the similarity ends. Instead of putting the yarn over and pulling the yarn through both loops, you will simply continue pulling the loop you just created through the first loop. I keep telling myself it’s time to move on to our next handicraft, but I love crochet so much that I can’t! At this point, I’m starting to think that this “problem” of loving the handicraft so much that we don’t want to move on is going to happen with every handicraft. So we’re going to have to find a way to manage this. We will be moving on, I promise. But we will probably never end this series. As we do different crochet projects, we’ll add them to our Happy Handicrafts Crochet Playlist. Iif you’d like to join us in crafting these ongoing projects, you are more than welcome!
