01 Feb How to do the Triple Crochet Stitch
The triple crochet stitch is not a stitch I use very often. I can think of maybe a handful of times that I have used it. Its long posts make for a rather unique appearance and crochet up with larger spaces than is normally desired. But my son is going to be showing us a Valentine’s Day project in an upcoming video that includes this stitch, so I’m going to show you how to make it!
The triple crochet stitch is not difficult, especially if you’ve been following along with our tutorials on our YouTube channel, Happy Handicrafts. In fact, it’s very similar to the double crochet stitch, with just a little variation. If you’ve mastered the double crochet, you’re not going to have any difficulty with the triple crochet. Promise.

Although you’re probably not going to use this particular stitch a lot, it’s always handy to know because it does randomly come up. I once made a shawl with it for my daughter that was really cute. I’ve also occasionally use it for a certain pattern while making a blanket. Either way, it’s something to add to your bag of tricks when crocheting.
