This Michelangelo Artist Study contains everything you will need to get started immediately. It begins with a description of what Artist Study is and what Charlotte Mason has to say about it. There are instructions on how to do Artist Study, then we get right into a history of the artist and a bit about their life. We address the period of time that they lived and worked, and any special techniques that we may observe in their work. Next we look at 6 of Michelangelo’s paintings. Each painting is sized on a 8.5″ x 11″ paper. Each includes a short description, then questions and observations you may make of the particular painting. Each term generally includes 6 paintings. We’ve included 3 alternates to use if you choose.
