My baby girl, Luci is turning 4 years old!  It’s my baby’s birthday and I’m making this about me. I have never been one of those Moms who falls to pieces with every milestone.  If that’s you, don’t take offense, it’s probably just my own personal defense mechanism so that I don’t have a public breakdown because of all the things that I miss as a working Mom.  For real.  But in the meantime, as other Moms were wiping their tears as they dropped their babies off at Preschool, I was high-tailing it home so I could get an awesome nap...

We’ve been very excited for this day for a long time now!  Luci has been counting down the days for over a month!  Today is the day that my Baby Luci is turning three! Happy Birthday Clark! Clark just turned 5 years old and we had a wonderful day full of fun and family!  Not to make this all about me, but I always get a little emotional on Clark's birthday because it is always a sweet reminder of how I became a Mother.  My pregnancy was a nightmare and Clark was born 7 weeks early.  He spend the first several weeks of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  Those days were very, very difficult but so special.  I sat in the NICU every day, holding and loving him, both of us healing together. ...
