How about something a little different and a little more creative than the grocery store Valentine’s Day cards? Since we homeschool, we thankfully don’t have the need to do 101 Valentine’s Day cards, but this year, I thought it would be fun to send out something fun to the Grandparents, at least, just letting them know that we are thinking about them and that we love them. I love this cute, simple little craft because it was completely Clark’s idea. One afternoon, Clark had finished all of his homeschool work and was looking for something to do.  One of the things I absolutely love about Clark and Luci is that they are the most brilliant, creative little beings.  They don’t know the meaning of boredom because they always find creative ways to occupy their time. We are currently reading the book Very Last First Time for our Five in a Row curriculum.  The story is about an Inuit girl who faces an incredible challenge alone for the first time.  The story takes place in Ungava Bay, Canada, so we have been learning about Northern Canada.  Clark and Luci have been especially interested in the Inuit people and their culture.  As we have learned about it, we found an Inuit girl craft with coffee filters that looked like it would be fun to make.
