It's about time! Today we will be finishing our needle-felted fox that we have been working on in our last couple of posts. This is the second part of our needle-felted fox project. The first part of our sculpture was creating the armature. Although building an armature was a new experience for us, we found it important to remember that perfection is not the goal. That first layer of copper wire was soon going to be covered in undyed wool roving. So although this second part was a little time consuming, it was simple to complete. Today we are starting a new project in our handicraft series - a needle-felted fox! We have several reasons for choosing a fox. First of all, they're just so cute. They also provide the opportunity for us to try a slightly more complicated armature than our last project, the needle-felted sheep, and we're going to learn how to apply fur.
