Math is not Clark's favorite subject.  It wasn't mine either, so I get it. It's always a bit of a struggle to stay focused.  Clark has a very creative brain and, like me, he needs a creative outlet.  Math is just the wrong side of the brain for that!  So in order for him to get engaged in his math lesson we've got to find ways incorporate creativity into the math. What kid doesn't love a picnic, right? For Clark's birthday yesterday, my kids wanted a picnic - but with bugs. Everything is about bugs right now. So, I made them this cute little lunch scene with snails and toadstools and even included a couple of plastic bugs. It doesn't take much to make these kids happy! Just some fun and simple picnic foods! First of all, apparently Cheetos are essential to birthdays.  So they are included, of course.
