We recently posted a blog post and video about How to Make Valentine's Day Pompom Hearts. Although it presents a simple way to make pompoms, I thought I would show another way to make a simple pompom heart. This time, all you're going to need is your hand, some yarn and a pair of scissors. As school winds down around a holiday or celebration, my kids can always count on me to have a craft ready. It's one of my favorite ways to connect with the kids, while getting something useful done. When I was growing up, I remember Valentine's Day always being a big celebration in school. Every kid would bring in a box and put it on their desk, ready for all of the cards they would receive.
