Math is not Clark's favorite subject.  It wasn't mine either, so I get it. It's always a bit of a struggle to stay focused.  Clark has a very creative brain and, like me, he needs a creative outlet.  Math is just the wrong side of the brain for that!  So in order for him to get engaged in his math lesson we've got to find ways incorporate creativity into the math. I'm not too into flash cards, but on a little trip to the Dollar Store yesterday, Luci saw some labeled with "ABC" and got so excited about recognizing the letters that we couldn't resist buying them for her.  I also worry that sometimes I get so focused on Clark's education that she feels left out in the process.
