Last week, in our paper sloyd video series, we made a paper sloyd book cover. Today, we are making Project 13 from the book Paper Sloyd for Primary Grades. Years ago, when I decided to start homeschooling my children, I didn't have many friends or acquaintances who homeschooled. Several years ago, my children and I had the pleasure of participating in a local Charlotte Mason Co-op. One of the group's handicrafts for a term was to create a leather journal, doing the book binding ourselves. As a hard-core night-shift nurse of almost 30 years, I know a thing or two about sleep. Like any true night-shifter, I obsess about it, I protect it, and I love it.
