27 Feb How to Create a Paper Sloyd Rosette Bookmark
After the difficulty and frustration of our last model, the paper sloyd doll house chair, we were more than relieved to find that today’s paper sloyd rosette bookmark was fairly simple and quick to make. In fact we enjoyed it so much that we made THREE! After all, what homeschooler doesn’t need a bookmark or two? Or three?
Today we are making the 7th Supplementary Model from the book, Paper Sloyd for Primary Grades by Ednah Anne Rich. So, gather around, collect your supplies, and let’s do some paper sloyd together! Our video below will walk you through every step.
Materials Needed
- The book, Paper Sloyd for Primary Grades by Ednah Anne Rich
- A small piece of good quality card stock, Bristol Board, or scrapbook paper
- A compass
- A pencil
- A ruler
- Scissors
- A protractor

That wasn’t hard, was it? We found it to be a bit of a break after the last few more rigorous models.
Did you catch my sneaky tip at the end to make more bookmarks with less effort? How many did you make?
If you’ve just found us, through Happy Handicrafts or through the blog world, we’re so glad you made it here! We are a little homeschooling family that enjoys handicrafts, and we’re here to encourage and help other homeschooling families who want to do handicrafts, but find it overwhelming. Our videos are created to walk homeschooling moms and their students through each project, in a way that makes handicrafts easy and enjoyable. This is what brings us joy.
