I don’t know when Dr. Seuss’ birthday became a big week-long event at school, but it did and I love it!  I look forward to it all year.  I love to see what dress-up ideas and activities the teachers are going to come up with. School is out and we are busy playing, creating memories and developing our first Christmas traditions. I grew up in a family rich in traditions, and although they are important to me, I want to create our own as a new family. Candlefest Christmas was a big deal in my childhood home. It's the Thanksgiving Holidays! Happy Thanksgiving! Clark's preschool is closed this week and I couldn't be happier. It's so nice and relaxing not to have to worry about getting him ready and off to school  No stress in the morning!  The tougher part is keeping them both kids occupied and happy all day while I clean the entire house, get all the laundry done and prepare for family coming in from out of town for the holiday.    Immediately after breakfast, I pulled out my well-hidden play dough.  I reserve it for special occasions, so it keeps...
