Our project this week is a paper sloyd round button box. I can picture this cute little box being used in days gone by for tiny buttons or other sewing notions. This is the second supplementary model at the end of the book, Paper Sloyd for Primary Grades by Ednah Anne Rich. We have come to the last model of the third year in the book, Paper Sloyd for Primary Grades and this one was a doozy! This project was the 18th model of the third year, and it was definitively one of the more difficult models that we have done. After a stressful week, it was nice to sit down with my daughter to make this paper sloyd letter holder. Art truly washes away the stresses and cares of everyday life.
