Hello! It’s time for us to release the eighth video in our Happy Handicraft Paper Sloyd series. This project is all about how to create a paper sloyd basket with handle. We found it to be a little more labor-intensive than previous projects, but we’re here to walk you through each step. Just follow along with the video, pause where you need to, and I think you are going to love the results.

My children and I are creating this series for other homeschool families, who could use some help. I know sometimes homeschool moms can be limited on time, and sometimes arts and crafts are the first thing to be put on the back burner. We would like to fill in that gap.

If, as a homeschool mom, you need a little more time to work with your younger students, to take a shower, or just to take a moment to yourself, this series is for you! Open our YouTube channel, gather the few supplies, and leave the rest to us. We are creating these videos with the goal that they do not require Mom’s presence. That being said, you are more than welcome to join in the fun, if you are feeling crafty, or need a few moments of creativity.

Materials Needed

For this project you will need just a few supplies that I would guess are already readily available.

  • Paper, at least 6″ x 6″
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Glue
